About Me

Innovative Author & Book Publisher in Aurora

As the driving force behind Bright Headed Publishing, LLC, situated in the heart of Aurora, Colorado, I've dedicated my career to the art of storytelling. Specializing in women's and African-American fiction, my journey as an indie author and publisher has been fueled by a passion for bringing diverse voices and untold stories to the forefront of the literary scene. With a portfolio that spans novels, short stories, and poems, my work aims to resonate with readers nationwide, celebrating the power of words and the beauty of storytelling.

My approach to publishing is deeply personal and hands-on. Having been writing and self-publishing since grade school, I understand the nuances and challenges that come with crafting stories that speak to the soul. The relaunch of Bright Headed Publishing marks a new chapter in my mission, not just to share my own creations but to eventually welcome and promote works by other authors who share a similar vision. The cornerstone of my relaunch is a series of my own books, currently under revitalization, which will soon be reintroduced to my audience, adorned with new covers and infused with renewed energy.

Beyond the pages of my books, I've extended my love for storytelling into the digital realm through the BHP Book Club podcast. This platform allows me to connect with readers and listeners on a more intimate level, discussing themes, characters, and the creative process behind my works. It's an extension of Bright Headed Publishing's commitment to fostering a community that values depth, diversity, and dialogue in literature.

I invite you to join me in this literary journey, to explore the stories I've poured my heart into, and to celebrate the launch of new titles that are on the horizon. For inquiries, collaborations, or to learn more about my upcoming releases, please reach out. Together, let's shine a light on the stories that need to be told.
