I’m Kelly Morgan—the head storyteller and creative force behind Bright Headed Publishing, LLC. I write stories that linger, blending depth, humor, and emotional honesty across fiction, essays, and poetry. My path has always been words: crafting characters you remember and narratives that spark real conversation.

Bright Headed Publishing is my independent platform connecting readers and indie authors. I host The Author’s Mic™, where writers, editors, poets, and other creatives share honest, no-fluff talks about the writing life. I also run BTA Fridays – Breaking the Algorithm™, practical strategy for indie authors who are tired of being invisible. And with the Indie Reader Society book club, I bring readers and writers together around books that create connection.

My work isn’t limited by genre or identity. I champion diverse storytelling and welcome voices from every background—because good stories belong to everyone. Current titles include Weight For It (also available in audio) and You Sound White, with more projects on the way.
